The Artist
Stawros is an electronic music producer and composer from The Netherlands. At the age of 16 his journey started out in Hardstyle, drawn to the sheer energy and structure of the genre. However, as his sound developed, he turned to the piano to find a different kind of depth, one grounded in melody and harmony.
This shift led into a defining Lo-fi Hip-hop era, where tracks like Talking to Myself (500k+ streams on Apple Music) and Stellar Winds (300k+ on Spotify) proved that music doesn't need to be loud to resonate. It wasn’t about chasing trends; it was about capturing a mood.
Today, Stawros channels these influences into Drum & Bass. It’s the perfect middle ground: the pace provides the momentum, while the melodic roots keep the feeling intact. Beyond his solo releases, he applies this cinematic approach as Lead Composer for the Dying Light 2: Renaissance project.
The genre may change, the purpose remains the same.

Dying Light 2: Renaissance
Lead Music Composer
Project Renaissance is a community driven passion project aiming to recreate and revive the original E3 2018 vision of Dying Light 2. For this project, I focus on custom music and sound design that deepens immersion and reinforces the darker tone of the world. It represents the core goal of my musical journey: using sound to support narrative, atmosphere, and emotional depth.
Drum & Bass
The current focus and natural convergence of energy and emotion. Drum & Bass provides the space to combine rhythmic drive with melodic depth and cinematic atmosphere, allowing both intensity and feeling to coexist within a single framework.
Piano & Composition
A self-taught exploration of piano as a way to translate emotion into original compositions. Rather than technical perfection, the focus was on harmony, progression, and writing themes that could carry feeling beyond genre.
Lo-Fi Hip-Hop
A more introspective phase focused on atmosphere and restraint, driven by the desire to bring more emotion into the music. During this period, playing the piano became a central tool for expressing feeling through melody and harmony.
Hardstyle
This is where it began. Hardstyle taught me knowledge in arrangement and energy flow. Hhow small changes in rhythm, harmony, and sound design can completely shift the emotional impact of a track. Those fundamentals still guide my compositions, regardless of style.
